Coronitic eclogite of Sifah

The centimetric garnet of the eclogite is surrounded by a corona of glaucophane. It indicates a retrogression from the eclogite conditions to the blueschists conditions during the exhumation of the rock. Yellow epidote and dark blue glaucophane constitute the matrix of rock. PhotoID302
