Refolded folds

Upright F2 folds refolded by F3 more open folds with shallowly dipping axial planes. Type 3 interference pattern (Ramsay, 1967).
Varicolured Sericitic Schists of the epimetamoprhic Tuscan succession (tectonic complex n. 3) at Cala dell’Alga, Elba Island (Italy).
